Ben Smith & Partners Consulting is owned by Ben, originally from London and now based in Scotland. Ben’s background is wide ranging from Sports Marketing PR, to Public Affairs for a global bank, to Media Planning and Communications agencies for WPP and Aegis.
Over a 20yr period Ben has been involved with some of the world’s highest profile brands, sports, major events and governing bodies including the Olympics and Commonwealth Games.
He has also been at the forefront of marketing and communications and its transformation due to the internet and digital, a new world order for connecting brands with audiences.

Ben’s professional background with agencies, as a client and with governing bodies often gives him a unique perspective from different angles, combining creative inspiration and delivering a commercial edge.

Personal
Ben lives in the Scottish Borders with his wife and two daughters with a passion for all sports and dreaming of one day playing golf at Augusta. With age over taking his ability to play rugby he has completed several marathons for charity in an attempt to keep active.
In his spare time he acts as Secretary to The Jim Clark Trust with plans for a new historic F1 museum with the support of Sir Jackie Stewart to celebrate the life and inspiration of one of Scotland’s and the world’s greatest ever motorsport legends.
